From Military Service to Farming Excellence
JarHead Farm is father-daughter team. Stan was an ASA Specialist-6 during the Vietnam era maintaining listening post equipment. Natasha is a retired Marine Corps combat correspondent. Together we grow sustainable, healthy, American food, specializing in heirlooms, native varieties, co-planting, and permaculture. Never GMO.

We recently expanded our orchard by planting 1,000 thornless blackberry plants, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable growth and quality fruit production.
Our farming practices prioritize quality, sustainability, and care for the land that provides for our community.

Named 2024 WV Social Enterprise of the year
As Judy Moore just outlined, social impact is the core of this award, and this year's recipient has gone above and beyond to make a difference. Founded by veterans for veterans, this enterprise not only provides meaningful employment but also addresses critical food insecurity issues in rural West Virginia. Their commitment to sustainable farming, community engagement, and economic development is truly remarkable. From their innovative commercial kitchen project that is currently underway to their support for youth and local entrepreneurs, they are creating ripples of positive change across our region. With a model focused on sustainability and empowerment, they are not just improving lives but also cultivating a community-driven ecosystem where everyone can thrive. Their story is one of resilience, overcoming personal challenges to build a business that uplifts others. With every initiative, they prove that business can be a force for good, creating opportunities that extend far beyond their farm’s boundaries. Let us celebrate Natasha Zoe of JarHead Farm as the 2024 WV Hive Social Enterprise of the Year. Natasha was not able to attend the Award Ceremony as she was on a much deserved vacation after a busy and successful year.
We bring military precision to every jar, ensuring the highest quality in everything we produce.
Serving our neighbors with the same dedication we served our country—one family at a time.
Growing responsibly for today while nurturing the land for future generations.
